Overview:

The upcoming ITSC 2009 event will bring an interesting program of Applications and Case Studies. You will be able to learn about present day applications in fields as diverse as aerospace, electronics, automotive, and the steel industry. Applications in the diverse fields are found which benefit from the use of the thermal spray process. Various thermal spray processes are used in studies for optimizing coatings and papers presented at ITSC will show you their results such as: • Detonation spraying for used to produce superabrasive diamond grinding tools. • Metal matrix composites (MMC’s) and WC based coatings for wear resistance. • Application of thermal sprayed wear-resistant coatings for CFB Boiler applications. Visiting ITSC 2009 and attending the Symposia for Applications and Case Studies will provide you an overview of the many ways that thermal spray technology can impact our products and bottom line.
