Session Description: This session will highlight international efforts underway to develop and characterize new materials and processes for a variety of space-related materials including magnesium and aluminum alloys, hybrid metal matrix composites, and polymer matrix composites materials. All different parts of the spacecraft will be represented, from ablatives and thermal protection systems to primary and secondary support structures. | ||||
