Session 2: Optimization of Materials and Processes with Modeling and Simulation
Location: 310-311 (Dayton Convention Center )
(Please check final room assignments on-site).
Session Description: This session is focused on modeling and simulation topics related to development and enhancement of materials and manfucturing processes. New materials are emerging at greater rates and with greater understanding of capabilities due to the use of modeling tools. Similarly, manufacturing processes are being designed and optimized that will provide for greater component performance capability. The development and use of modeling and simulation tools is leading to enhanced robust or 6-sigma design methodologies.
