Location: 402 (Meydenbauer Center)
(Please check final room assignments on-site).
Session Description: This technical program is focused on the advancement of superplastic forming manufacturing and materials science. Superplastic Forming and Diffusion Bonding have gained widespread interest in many manufacturing segments and it has been transformed from a low-volume process into medium-volume production for several different markets including the aerospace and automotive sectors. Presentations in this session will cover:
- Industrial applications for superplastic forming (aerospace, automotive and other markets)
- Superplasticity in advanced titanium and aluminum alloys
- Diffusion Bonding
- Process and tooling development
