Mechanical Properties and Ballistic Resistance of a New Alpha-Beta Titanium Alloy

A new alpha-beta titanium alloy has been developed to provide ballistic and mechanical properties similar to Ti-6Al-4V while offering producibility benefits and reduced manufacturing costs. This presentation will discuss formulation concepts, mechanical properties, and ballistic test results.
