Carbon fiber polymer composites are increasingly important materials.  In order to design new composites that better satisfy the requirements of the assembled part, improved modeling methods are needed.  In addition to properties of the resin in the cured composite part, properties of the resin during manufacturing must also be considered during the design of new resin systems.  One such property is the viscosity of the unreacted monomers.  A computational chemistry simulation protocol that can be used to accurately determine the viscosity of a new resin system is necessary to add viscosity to the screening properties for new resins.  This presentation will discuss the development of a viscosity simulation protocol.
