The Ni-Fe-Cr-based superalloy is a solid solution strengthened. This alloy is used for high temperature components in heat treatment, mineral processing, and gas turbine applications due to its excellent high temperature strength besides to a very good resistance to aggressive environments . Hot deformation of small samples was carried out in order to determine the effects of segregation in ingots on microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy. Different temperature and strain rates were evaluated, the material was heat treated after that. The samples were analyzed using Optical Microscopy and SEM finding that the strain and heat treatment applyed improve the microstructure and mechanical properties
