Laser welding is the process with more advantages of excellent quality, almost no distortions and higher accuracy, laser beam process can deliver great heat sources for welding; with less microstructural changes in base metal. Laser process is used for welding and drilling of jet engine components. In this work, the laser beam welding is proposed like a good choice in other welding process by aircraft, such as Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) in ferritic stainless steel, actually the stainless steel weldments are used in some parts of aircraft structure, in vane of missiles for example, despite microstructural changes in base metal appear; the heat affected zone and gran refinements have effects on their mechanical properties.
