Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company is capitalizing on the benefits of additive manufacturing as it globally deploys this innovative and disruptive technology throughout its programs.  An overview of development activities, equipment investment, and early program insertions of additive manufacturing will be presented.  Component-level qualifications provide early insertion opportunities.  These successes facilitate development of material and process specifications, design allowables data, design guidelines & training, quality, inspection, acceptance criteria, and repair techniques.  These non-recurring activities, in turn, address global deployment of additive manufacturing technologies for sake of all programs.  Specific examples will include Ti-6Al-4V case studies for Arcam and Sciaky equipment, polymer applications using Fused Deposition Modeling-based equipment, and future plans for increasing the suite of materials and additive manufacturing processes.
