The Application of coatings on turbine blades looking for reduces corrosion due to molten salts is relevant. Molten salts of Na2SO4, V2O5 and K2SO4 were deposited by non-transfer arc plasma-assisted thermal spraying (APS) at a temperature of 700°C. Corrosion rate was determinate by electrochemical techniques as linear polarization resistance and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results showed that the coating deposited by APS was attacked by molten salts of V2O5 and Na2SO4 more than V2O5 and K2SO4.
