Material Approaches for More Sustainable Processing

In a logic follow-up to the virtual AEROMAT 2021 experience this session is aiming at delivering an overview of first progress achieved on materials enabling MEA More Electric Flight or alternative propulsion approaches. Recycling efforts are being featured as well as works on the replacement of critical or banned substances. A summary on Airbus' status of LCA Life Cycle Analysis and capturing Environment as a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) complements the picture.
