The U.S. Materials Genome Initiative (MGI) highlights the benefits of an Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) approach to develop new materials. As a global leader in ICME with its proprietary Materials by Design® methodology, QuesTek focuses on rapidly designing and developing materials from a conceptual need through production insertion by combining advanced computational technology and stage-gate design and development process with additional applied skills, resources, and expertise. In recent years, QuesTek has been working on a path towards digital transformation by digitizing its in-house algorithms and software, which led to a cloud-based platform for advanced ICME in combination with materials informatics and machine learning methods – QuesTek Integrated Design Engine, or QuesTek IDE. Built on a secure cloud platform with a multi-tiered architecture, QuesTek IDE hosts a variety of advanced ICME/MGI/ML toolkits, each enabling workflows for users on different skillsets. In this presentation, QuesTek will introduce this novel technology for advanced materials design, development, and qualification for accelerated insertion of materials.
