“Advancing Material Science to address the evolving needs of  Aerospace and Defense Ecosystems”

From ramp to downturn to resurgence, the aerospace industry has seen fundamental shifts in global supply chains. As production fluctuated, innovation has been a constant. From a focus on flight safety and quality, to a commitment to sustainability, to the drive for improved performance, the industry is evolving through new alloys and additive manufacturing. ATI is proud to be leading the industry on many fronts. This session will highlight the technological advances we see as possible: high-performance alloys purpose-built for additive manufacturing; detection technology in nickel superalloy wrought products; and more robust solutions for dwell fatigue via improved wrought titanium alloys. Through strategic partnerships, we are collaborating with key customers to improve quality, toward our shared goal of zero defects.
