| Session 2: Bio-Tribology | ||||
| Location: Marco C (Orlando Airport Marriott) | ||||
| (Please check final room assignments on-site). | ||||
| Session Description: Bio-tribology is the science of friction, wear, and lubrication of biomaterials. The bio-tribology session will focus on issues such as the
wear of biomaterials, modeling of total knee replacements, engineered surfaces of artificial joints, replacement joint materials, and the
application of bio-coatings using lasers. Keynote papers on aspects of bio-tribology and surface engineering are highlighted in this session. | ||||
