Session Description: This session addresses thermally sprayed metallic and composite materials that must withstand conditions in gas turbine engines where these aggressive degradation mechanisms exist. The session features an invited presentation on abradable coatings for clearance control. Other topics include the effects of processing parameters and novel structures on coating properties. | ||||
