Summary: An integrated software tool has been developed for numerical modeling and simulation of aluminum alloy solutionizing processes. The model integrates thermal analysis, alloy microstructure analysis and mechanical property prediction. The simulation and analysis can be used to design heat treatment processes to achieve predictable properties of alloys, as well as to reduce process cycle time and energy consumption.
