View in WORD format

Summary: Radiant tubes combustion systems are used extensively throughout the Heat Treating industry. Recent and sustaining increases in natural gas prices coupled with volatility in pricing and supply have resulted in significant threats to the profit margins for heat treating facilities. This paper discusses some new radiant tube combustion technologies that will improve the bottom line profits by significantly increasing fuel efficiency, improving radiant tube life and potentially improve production, depending on current furnace configuration.
