Session Description: High pressure gas quenching (HPGQ) technology can offer advantages over traditional quenchants in suitable applications. These advantages include reduction in distortion, better repeatability, safety, environmental impact, reduction in post heat treat operations, and overall economics. In order to properly apply HPGQ and take full advantage of its benefits, key technology issues will be explored in the various sessions to be offered. | ||||
