Deep Cryogenic Treatment is being applied to automotive brake rotors to increase their service life.  This paper compares the performance of treated automotive brake rotors vs. untreated rotors using data from both laboratory tests and real world use.  Various applications including passenger car, racing car, truck, mass transit and mining vehicles are discussed.
