Oxidation of Quench Oil

The mechanism of the oxidation of quench oil will be described, with examples of the effect of base oil on a typical mar-tempering oil composition.  Examination included FTIR, TAN and viscosity measurements.  Typical maintenance and control measures will also be discussed.
