Induction Coupled Thermo-Magnetic-Processing (ITMP)

Sustainability combined with the challenge of power density improvement using low cost steel alloys opportunity is addressed in this paper.  By the application of 9Tesla magnetic field in heat treat processing, improvements can be achieved in low cost steels to rival exotic alloys in properties and performance.
