Advanced Automation in the Heat Treat Industry

Over the past 20 years, automation and robotics have become very standard in many production centers all around the world. Heat treatment is still a very manual and human task oriented field. In this presentation we review the latest developments and integration in order to improve tact time of furnace systems and guarantee the process stability load after load, part after part. Primary examples we will speak about how to load and unload any kind of parts automatically on fixture, check mechanical and dimensional property before and after heat treatment, automatically upload recipes and generate a full report with compliance and tolerances.
