This foundational course is designed for those new to the heat-treating field or seeking a refresher on the basics. Topics include the principles of steel heat treating, heat treating of aluminum alloys, an overview of heat treatment furnace design and operation, and an introduction to the metallography of heat-treated components. Attendees will gain essential knowledge of materials behavior and processing techniques used across the industry.
