Session 14: Braze Processing 2
Location: Executive Salon 2 (Crowne Plaza Riverwalk San Antonio)
(Please check final room assignments on-site).
Session Description: This session adds to the content of the Advances in Braze Processes session. Both sessions address emerging developments and information on well known braze processes. Both sessions are essential for braze process engineers and would be of high interest to those in the R&D of braze joining processes. This session specifically presents several processes and includes presentations on the brazing of non-metallic materials with assistance of high-voltage electric fields, fluoride ion braze preparation, vacuum brazing, fundamentals of stainless steel brazing and productivity ideas for furnace brazing.

Session Chair:Mr. Dan Hauser Edison Welding Institute, Columbus, OH
8:30 AMQuantitative Evaluation of Design of Brazed Structures and Joints
8:50 AMFluoride Ion Cleaning as a Pre-Braze Process
9:10 AMIssues in Vacuum Brazing
