(V) Investigation of Karasburg and Muonionalusta Meteorites

Karasburg and Muonionalusta meteorites were investigated using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and electron dispersive spectroscopy. These samples demonstrate contrasting histories and a variety of microstructural features that are exclusive only to meteorites. Beautiful color micrographs of each meteorite's structure will be featured throughout the presentation. A comprehensive analysis of Karasburg and Muonionalusta meteorites will first be offered, including each meteorite's history and microstructural features. Then, the focus will shift to correlating the microstructural features of each meteorite to their past.
