In order to communication aspects of FA such as findings, processes, sequences, one is incline to use visual aids. These may come in the form of actual photos (large scene and macro), photomicrographs, illustrations, and videos, or scale physical models, but can often include modeling results in the form of stills or video. In the age of TV and computer screens it is useful to understand some key human factors before selecting a medium and a final plan for a visual aid. Visual aids from a set of investigations will be used as examples in conjunction with comparison to theoretical or suggested ones.
