Oxide Dispersion Strengthen (ODS) Molybdenum Lanthana (MoLa) alloys were developed for increasing temperature service capability above pure molybdenum and molybdenum alloy TZM in both vacuum and hydrogen atmosphere furnace applications. The superior performance of ODS MoLa results from thermo-mechanical forming microstructural features that retain toughness after recrystallization. Components of MoLa demonstrated extended life in thermal cycling industrial environments with reduced distortion and cracking. Elevated tensile strength, and microstructural evolution are described MoLa flat rolled sheet at 0.6 and 1.1% concentration at different annealing conditions. Creep performance of MoLa sheet were evaluated with a modified 3-point bend testing. The properties of MoLa, pure Mo and TZM for application in the appropriate processing conditions.
