Metallurgical Failure Analysis of Small Engine Components

This presentation will discuss the findings of two metallurgical failure investigations.  The first involved the metallurgical failure analysis of a crankshaft from an engine used on a road cutting saw.  The second case study applied to a bearing from a water pump that failed in a fire truck.
