Corrosion Failures in Brewery / Distillery Service

Brewery and distillery processes can be affected by a variety of corrosion mechanisms. Brewing and distilling are relatively simple, established processes that don’t usually require severely corrosive materials and elevated temperatures. However, combatting corrosion is a constant concern for the safety of consumers. Intentional and unintentional corrodent exposure can lead to failures throughout these processes. This presentation will discuss brewery / distillery corrosion with case history examples.
