Heat treating for visual appeal on cast iron and bronze

I will look at how heat can be applied to polished cast iron and bronze to achieve heat patina and how this can be useful in the preservation and visual appeal of objects. This is not a new and novel idea but very limited information is being presented on this topic currently.
