Visualization Techniques for Communicating Complex Material Data and Analysis to Non-Technical Stakeholders.

This presentation will demonstrate an array of methods showing how a wide variety of complex engineering data and analysis techniques can be presented to a non-technical audience in a way that is much more accessible to them. The data and analysis will include manufacturer 3D CAD, measurements from exemplar components, on board instrumentation recordings, FEA analysis, FARO 3D laser scans, USGS topographic data, drone aerial imagery, CT scans, dynamic motion analysis and others. 3D animations will be shown that demonstrate how all of these data types and analysis methods are effectively conveyed to the viewer.
