Making FA Reports more Accessible to our Customers

We all recognize that a Failure Analysis must be accurate to be of service to the project submitter, but that is not enough. If the results are not effectively conveyed, the findings may fall on deaf ears, and empowered parties will not act to prevent recurrence. The Author will describe a variety of techniques he has learned and cultivated from reading and writing many hundreds of technical reports over the decades. While the primary focus will be on how to more clearly present technical results, techniques to enhance the data collection process itself will also be touched on.
