A foreign operated Piper PA-30 suffered an inflight separation of the right wing, that destroyed the aircraft and fatally injured the crew. Investigation revealed a fatigue fracture of the wing. The specific initiation area was not recovered but significant local corrosion was likely contributory and will be discussed. Overall maintenance of the aircraft and its mission as they relate to the separation will also be presented.
