Fractography of Low Alloy Cast Steel

Very large low alloy steel columns were involved in a failure. Various exemplar mechanical tests was performed to characterize the low alloy cast steel from the columns. The mechanical testing included tensile tests, charpy tests, low cycle and high cycle fatigue tests, and fracture mechanics tests. The fractography from each of these different tests shall be presented.
