As the plumbing industry evolves, pullout failures of push-to-connect PEX connections have become increasingly more frequent. As a result, failure analysts must adapt new methods of evaluating plumbing components following a pullout failure. This presentation discusses methods of testing and evaluating push-to-connect PEX connections and the relationship to the evaluation of failed connections.
