In this study, we explored the micromechanical behavior of additively manufactured multi-layered samples having alternating layers of hard CoCrNi and soft CoCrNi2 medium-entropy alloys. The global and local deformation in the multi-layered sample (prepared via laser-powder bed fusion) were analyzed using macro- and micro-scale digital image correlation techniques, respectively. The results were discussed in terms of the constraint of the plastic deformation in each layer and interfacial region.
