GRINDING BURNS CAN BE DETECTED RELIABLY MANUALLY OR AUTOMATICALLY IF REQUIRED, IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF

MANUFACTURED COMPONENTS.

THE TECHNOLOGY IS SO SENSITIVE THAT CAN DETECT VERY LIGHT GRINDING BURNS THAT CAN NOT BE DETECTED BY THE

TRADITIONAL METHOD OF NITAL ETCHING.

THE CHANGE OF PERMEABILITY CAUSED BY THE GRINDING BURN ON THE SURFACE OF THE MATERIAL IS EASILY DETECTED

BY THE TESTING PROBE OF THE EDDY CURRENT SYSTEM, MUCH MORE FASTER THAN THE NITAL ETCHING

ON THE OTHER HAND THE CRACKS OR DEFECTS ON THE SURFACE OF THE COMPONENT BEING TESTED, DISRUPT THE INDUCED

EDDY CURRENTS ON THE SURFACE OF THE COMPONENT UNDER TEST AND THAT CHANGE IS DETECTED BY THE EDDY CURRENT

SYSTEM INDICATING THE DEFECT.

IT CAN BE EASILY AUTOMATED THROUGH THE INTERFACE OF THE TESTING INSTRUMENT
