Influences of hydrogen on small-scale mechanical behavior of additively and conventionally manufactured medium- and high-entropy alloy (MEA and HEA) samples were explored through instrumented indentation tests. A series of indentation experiments at both macro- and nano-scale were performed on the samples that were hydrogenated in either electrochemical or gaseous manner. The results are discussed in terms of the hydrogen trapping sites and their roles under different hydrogen-charging conditions.
