Exploring Neurodivergence in Technical Workplaces

Social norms and stigma often prevent a deep understanding of the prevalence and effects of neurodivergence in our workplaces. But let's face it: We're engineers, and if we're not neurodivergent ourselves (Spoiler alert: I am!), we probably work with someone neurodivergent...whether we (or even they) know it. This presentation will be a brief exploration of neurodivergence in a technical workplace through review of current published research, sharing of personal stories, and a neurospicy explanation of some obscure technical analogies.
