Analsis of Catastrophic Nylon 66 Webbing Failures

Nylon 66 webbing is a high strength, technical fabric. It is used in demanding applications, many of which are in support of human life. The consequences of this material failing can be grave. This talk will cover multiple instances of Nylon 66 webbing failures. Each of these instances and their subsequent failure analysis investigations will be covered with emphasis on the bespoke materials testing created to accurately replicate and test the conditions at the time of failure.
