LPPS technology has been used for deposition of Y2O3-ZrO2 coating on stainless steel substrate. The coatings have been prepared under different chamber pressure. Preliminary results of the properties and the structure of the LPPS ZrO2-based coatings are presented. It is shown that there are more or less unfused particles in the coatings and the increasing chamber pressure is propitious to the particle melting. We also compare the difference between LPPS Y2O3-ZrO2 coating and APS Y2O3-ZrO2 coating.
Key words: LPPS, APS, ZrO2

Summary: this paper focused on the ZrO2-based coating via LPPS at different chamber pressure, also, the as-sprayed coating was ompared with the APS sprayed ZrO2 coating
