Thermoelectric Device Fabricated by Plasma Spray

S. Sodeoka, M. Suzuki, T. Inoue, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan; J. Rückriem, The Helmut Schmidt University, University of the Federal Armed Forces, Hamburg, Germany

A thermoelectric power generating device was fabricated by plasma spray technique. It was composed of (Ca, Bi)3Co4O9 p-type semiconductor elements and (Sr, Y)TiO3-x n-type semiconductor elements. We obtained electric output successfully under a temperature gradient.
