The development and evolution of new classes of materials and the improvement of the current feeds are among the crucial issues for the advancement of thermal spraying. This is paramount to consolidate the presence and future of thermal spraying in the academic and industrial sectors. In addition to improving and maintaining the existing markets, it will open new markets and horizons for the application of this exciting coating technology. The Symposium will be structured to consist of 6-topic areas representing the latest trends in the development of materials for anti-wear, corrosion, structural, thermal and environmental barrier, SOFC and photocatalytical applications.
