GTS was founded in 1992 and has since established itself as a worldwide interest group for industrial enterprises, job shops and research institutes engaged in thermal spraying. With its current 176 members, it is the association’s objective to promote thermal spray technology, to assure thermal spray quality and to certify thermal spray products. To date, GTS offers the only certificate worldwide which, in addition to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management, certifies personnel, the process and – on request – a thermal spray product or coating.
