Cold Spraying – Hardware Development

The industrial use of Cold Spraying started with the third Millennium. CGT (Cold Gas Technology GmbH) started in 2000 with the development of a gas heater and a cold spray gun with nozzle. The development of enhanced components never stopped; the history leads over the KINETIKS®3000, to the PF4000 powder feeder, reaching the KINETIKS®4000 series and beside that different nozzle geometries and accessories like angle adapters. There is still a field and a market for improved or adapted components. This presentation will give an overview on the available cold spray hardware as well as a summery of technology fields where the systems are successfully in service.
