Thermal spraying applications in Korean energy industries

As an introduction, thermal spraying industries as well as major thermal spraying research fields by the research institutes and universities will be overviewed.  Traditional applications such as boiler tubes and turbine blades in steel and energy industries will be presented and then new developing applications by the industries such as wind power plants will be covered.  Research activities such as plasma and cold spraying for NAS (Sodium-Sulfur) battery for energy storage and SOFC power system will be also presented.
