Cold spray serial production applications and application development with focus on cold spraying at obz innovation gmbh

The advantages and possibilities of the cold spray process gain more and more attention from a wide range of industry. As the process becomes more and more well known the range of applications is widened out. Obz innovation gmbh is a company with a focus on cold spray applications, especially concerning the new application development. To be able to answer all customer needs and to do own cold spray and thermal spray development at obz there is a thermal and cold spray development group. In this oresentation it is shown how wide the range of application of the cold spray process is. Irt will be shown which serial production applications with cold spray are already being carried out, and the potential for future applications will be shown. A focus of this paper will be the new developments which enable new functionalities for different industry areas as the household, pump or automotive industry.
