In this paper, Aluminum-based boron nitride composite which composed of Aluminum powder and boron nitride as raw material, was prepared using mechanical clad. Abradable seal coating was prepared by plasma spraying. The micro-structure, hardness, bonding strength and abradability of coating were researched. The influence of spray parameters (power, powder feeding rate and spray distance) on micro-structure and properties were analysed. The results present that with the increase of the power, the wear phase of coating decreased, the hardness and bonding strength of coating increased, and the wear resistance decreased, and with the increase of powder feeding rate and spraying distance, the hardness and bonding strength of the coating decreased, and the wear resistance increased.
