The dynamic properties and thermal history of FeAl particle have been estimated. The crucial parameters of detonation process for investigated mixture have been obtained using thermochemical code. Next, the dynamic properties and thermal history of under consideration powder particles have been assessed using Computational Fluid Dynamics software and self developed algorithms. Considered models allowed for determination of melted volume (mass) fractions of particles, which is dependent on diameter of powder particles. The selected process dynamic parameter value, i.e. particles muzzle velocity, for under investigation system have been compared with experimental results. The obtained results were referred to the literature data on previous studies made by other researchers.
