What is new on SST Cold Spray Technology and Applications

Cold spray technology emerged as a practical technology in the 1980’s from the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk. As we move into year 2019 and beyond, the pace of the commercial implementation of this technology shows signs of significant growth, especially in aerospace and advanced manufacturing applications. Aerospace continues to pioneer the commercial implementation of cold spray technology in applications such as non-structural dimensional restoration, corrosion repair, seal surface repair of high value aircraft components, and now moving towards structural repair.
